Most of you know that my favorite author/poet is Sherman Alexie but I am currently reading a book from another Native American author, Leonard Peltier. Wow. I wish I could do something for the Native American community. They are still being treated as if they are not human beings. They get no respect. They live horribly. Why can’t America help them? It’s the least we can do for stealing their land and their freedom. Everyone should be aware of this. Do some research peeps.
